  • 6 tomatoes medium, quartered
  • 1 green pepper medium, julienned
  • 1 medium onion, sliced and separated into rings
  • 1/3 cup cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons celery seeds
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 peeled and sliced cucumber (large)

    Here’s how:

  • Combine the tomatoes, green pepper and onion in a large bowl.
  • In a saucepan, combine vinegar, sugar, mustard, salt and celery seeds and bring it to a boil for 1 minute then pour over vegetables.
  • Let stand until mixture cools down to room temperature and stir in the cucumber.
  • Cover and refrigerate until salad is chilled.

    Healthy Beef Skillet
    Ingredients:

  • 1 tsp. paprika 
  • 1 1/2 tsp. oregano 
  • 1 lb round beef top 
  • 1/2 tsp. chili powder 
  • 1/8 tsp. red pepper 
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder 
  • 1/4 tsp. black pepper 
  • 1/8 tsp. dry mustard 
  • 3 slices of onion

  • 8 medium potatoes (red), skinned
  • 2 cups broth (beef)
  • 2 carrots chopped thinly (strips) 
  • 2 garlic (big)
     
    Directions:
     

  • Slice the beef across grain in long and thin strips

  • Add oregano, chili powder, garlic powder, paprika, red pepper, dry mustard and black pepper.

  • Coat the meat with the mixture of spices.

  • Preheat pan on high flame before adding the meat.

  • Cook over medium heat for 5 minutes. Stir occasionally.

  • Add onion, garlic, onions and broth and cook over medium heat for 20 minutes.

  • Add carrots and green mustard and cook for 5 minutes.
